Tunisia: a stifling heat expected tonight

The heat does not weaken in Tunisia, even once the sun is lying. This night, temperatures will remain remarkably high throughout the territory, with night values that will sometimes exceed the usual thresholds for the season.

According to the National Institute of Meteorology, minimum temperatures will reach between 28 and 32 ° C in the north and in the center, and will climb between 33 and 37 ° C in the south of the country. Since Thursday, July 18, a mass of hot air from the desert continues to stifle the Tunisian regions, preventing any night refreshment. Result: a difficult night is coming, especially in the interior and Saharan areas where thermal discomfort will be marked.

Large-tunis: neither water nor electricity in full heat wave!

In parallel, isolated thunderstorms could develop in the early evening in the center-east, with the key to some rain and gusts temporarily exceeding 70 km/h. Elsewhere, the sky will generally be clear or not very cloudy as night progresses. The wind, from north to north and is elsewhere, will blow moderately inside the land, which is very close to the coast.

The sea will remain generally not very agitated, becoming locally more stormy. For residents of the South, air conditioners will turn at full speed, but even it may not be enough to alleviate the feeling of heat. A tropical night promises to be a good part of the country.
