The International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Tunisia announced on Tuesday the organization of a voluntary return flight for 138 Guinean citizens to Conakry, as part of its voluntary return and reintegration assistance program.
The flight, specially chartered from Tunis to Conakry, is part of IOM’s efforts to offer migrants in vulnerable situations a dignified and supported return solution.
Upon their arrival in Guinea, migrants will be welcomed by the IOM team on site, who will support them in the implementation of social and economic reintegration projects, in order to enable them to rebuild their lives in sustainable conditions that respect their dignity.
The organization specified that this program is implemented in Tunisia with the support of the European Union and the Swedish government, and in close collaboration with the Tunisian authorities and the consular representations concerned.
