The municipality of Tunis announced this Saturday that a control campaign was carried out in the center of the capital by the secretary general responsible for the management of the municipality.
This field visit made it possible to remind traders the obligation to respect the health rules in force as well as the conditions of exploitation of the sidewalks, within the limits authorized by law.
In an official press release, the municipality warned that it will take the necessary measures against any infraction noted.
The tour concerned the Bab Bhar and the Medina districts. On this occasion, the authorities proceeded to dismantle a storefront installed without authorization by a workshop specializing in the manufacture of metal brands, located in the rue de Libya.
The owner was taken to the police station after being surprised to shoot two trees without prior authorization.
