On the sidelines of the preparations for the 34ᵉ Arab Summit, scheduled for Baghdad this Saturday, May 17, 2025, the Tunisian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mohamed Ali Nafti, held a bilateral interview with his Algerian counterpart, Ahmed Attaf this Friday. The situation in Libya has occupied a central place in discussions between the two diplomats.

The heads of Tunisian and Algerian diplomacies expressed a convergence of views on the need to relaunch a process of inter-Libyan dialogue under the aegis of the United Nations, far from any foreign interference.
