The sixth Correctional Chamber Bis specializing in financial corruption affairs with the Tunis court of first instance condemned the businessman and former deputy for the dissolved parliament, Ridha Charfeddine, to a sentence of three years in prison, reports Mosaique FM.
The same room also inflicted financial fines in Charfeddine around 72 million dinars.
The prosecution of the economic and financial judicial center had issued a warrant of deposit against Ridha Charfeddine and referred it to the sixth Correctional Chamber BIS specialized in financial corruption affairs, to be tried for accusations related to the realization of gains abroad without authorization from the Central Bank.
