Negotiations are currently underway for the next return of the Polish airline Lot in Tunisia. The Ministry of Transport should give its approval in order to continue consolidating tourist flows from Polish airports towards Tunisia.
Currently, nearly 350,000 Polish tourists visited our country in 2024. They should be more numerous this year. This progression is also continues since Polish towers are already preparing promotional campaigns for 2026.
For the moment, air traffic from Poland is done via Enfidha airport with numerous charter flights all complete on each rotation.
A return of the lot to the Tunisian sky could increase the flows since the regular flights which will be created will allow to transport both long weekend travelers as well as business travelers.
The lot has expressed its interest in the Tunisian market and remains pending a decision by the Tunisian authorities.
Finally, it is important to emphasize that not only Polish tourists but also many Czech and Ukrainian tourists travel to Tunisia from Poland.
Thus, the return of the lot to Tunisia will impact all air flows from Central and East Europe.
