The Minister of Commerce and Development of Exports, Samir Abid, went this Friday to the wholesale Bir Kassâa to inspect supply levels and prices, according to a publication on the official ministry page on Facebook.
During this visit, the stability of the supply rate was noted and the availability of sufficient quantities of agricultural products (vegetables and fruits), with a significant entry of strawberries on the wholesale market.
These successive and not announced visits are part of close and continuous monitoring of the supply situation, aimed at exerting more pressure on prices at large levels, in order to ensure that the latter have repercussions on the retail markets and that prices reach consumers so as to respect their purchasing power.
