The Minister of Youth and Sports, Sadok Mourali, unveiled new orientations this Wednesday, April 16, 2025 to reform and revitalize the youth and sport sectors. These measures follow the parliamentary session of the day before, during which the Minister had answered several questions from the deputies.
Armi The main priorities announced is the revision of the infrastructure card. The objective is to rebalance their distribution across the country, by giving priority to the most isolated regions, often devoid of spaces dedicated to young people.
The ministry also provides for the generalization of neighborhood land and young people, particularly targeting interior and high density areas. It is a question of creating accessible places of life where young people can have entertained, gather and flourish.
Project planning will now be based on specific data and a rigorous evaluation of needs, taking into account the available means and priorities in the sector.
Interventions are also scheduled to renovate existing infrastructure, in particular those deemed dilapidated or threatening to collapse. This work will be done in coordination with the regional and local authorities.
Finally, a better distribution of responsibilities is envisaged: the ministry will take care of the realization of new projects, while the maintenance and development of installations already in service will fall under municipalities.
