The Minister of Economy and Planning, Samir Abdelhafidh, announced this Wednesday, April 30, 2025, that several legal and administrative issues slow down economic development in Tunisia. According to him, many current legislation hinders the investment, thus slowing down the rate of growth.
During the first regional forum on the development of the 2026-2030 development plan, which was held in Sbeitla, in the governorate of Kasserine, the minister explained that his ministry works daily to overcome these obstacles. “We are actively committing to simplify the steps and reform laws. We are convinced that relaunching investment is essential to stimulate stronger growth, creating new jobs and guaranteeing a fairer and more inclusive development, “he said.
The problem of investment in Tunisia remains a major issue, and this initiative could, if it is carried out to properly promote an accelerated economic growth, at the service of the entire population and future generations.
