The German company PRETTL, specialized in the manufacture of car cables, is preparing to set up an industrial unit in Tunisia, thus creating around 500 jobs in the coming months.
This announcement was formalized Wednesday at a meeting between Samir Abdelhafidh, Tunisian Minister of Economy and Planning, and Rolf Prettl, Executive President of the Group.
During this meeting at the headquarters of the ministry, Mr. Prettl expressed his satisfaction with the preparations underway for the launch of this project. He stressed that three key factors have motivated this investment decision: the climate favorable to investments in Tunisia, the strategic geographic position of the country, and the quality of Tunisian human resources.
Minister Abdelhafidh said his ministry is fully committed to supporting the German group in this project, so that the company can start its activities quickly and in the best possible conditions.
