The Tunis Afrique Press agency (TAP) has released the list of 37 people sentenced in the so -called “conspiracy against state security”. The sentences, ranging from 4 to 66 years in prison, relate to both political figures and the fascia.
In addition, three accused were struck off the file, following their appeal to the cassation against the decision of the Chamber of Indication. These are:
Riadh khamis ammar chaïbi (in freedom),
Mohamed Kamel Hassouna Amara Jendoubi (on the run),
Noureddine Hamed Belkacem Ben Ticha (Le Flite).

Heavy charges
The charges selected against the accused include:
conspiracy against the interior and external security of the state,
Constitution and belonging to a terrorist agreement in connection with terrorist crimes,
attempted reversal of the regime or incitement to the civil war,
Disorders, murders and looting on Tunisian soil in a terrorist context,
damage to food security and the environment.
