On the occasion of International Museum Day, the Central Bank of Tunisia (BCT) inaugurated the new website of the Currency Museum: musee.bct.gov.tn. This launch also coincides with the closing of the month of heritage.

The site offers an immersive virtual visit, an online store and enriched access to the collections of parts and tickets retracing the Tunisian monetary history. According to Governor Fethi Zouhaier Nouri, this digital platform values a unique heritage, while facilitating its accessibility to the general public, in Tunisia and abroad.

He also emphasized the importance of cooperation with researchers to preserve collective memory and promote scientific research. This project is part of the BCT’s desire to democratize access to knowledge and strengthen financial education through digital tools.
