The Tunis regional bar announced that it has received a correspondence from the Ministry of Justice informing it that the hearings of the terrorist cases, scheduled during the month of September in progress at the Tunis 1 court, will be held at a distance.
The bar specified that the Ministry of Justice justified this decision, in its correspondence, by the existence of a “real danger”, based on article 73 of law n ° 26 of the year 2015 of August 7, 2015 relating to the fight against terrorism and the prevention of money laundering, as well as on article 141 bis of the Code of Criminal Procedure which allows the holding of a distance.
The Ministry of Justice has indicated that the procedure of distance judgment will continue until a decision is rendered in the cases in question, according to the correspondence published by the regional bar of Tunis on its official Facebook page.
