The regional commission for disaster prevention and management in Jendouba has decided to suspend classes, this Saturday, November 22, 2025, in all primary, middle and high schools in the Aïn Draham delegation, due to the deterioration of weather conditions. The decision aims to guarantee the safety of students and all educational staff.
First snowfall in November
According to the Tunisian Weather and Climate Observatory, snowfall was recorded early this morning on the heights of Aïn Draham, as well as in several areas of the Ghardimaou delegation, including El Ghra, Aïn Sultan and El Faïja. These are early snowy episodes, occurring before the usual winter season. Temperatures also saw a notable drop, with maximums between 6 and 11°C in the western, northern and central regions, and between 12 and 17°C in the rest of the country.
The weather forecast calls for cold and unstable weather, with sometimes dense cloudy periods in the North, scattered and temporarily stormy rains, locally intense in the far North-West. The authorities are calling on road users to exercise caution due to the risk of slippery roads and reduced visibility.
