Sumud flotilla: Tunisians and Maghreb victims of inhuman treatment

Testimonies collected from participants in World flotilla and Al-Soumoud Maghrebintended to break the blockade imposed in Gaza, reveal serious abuses committed by the Israeli occupation forces against arrested activists, notably Tunisians, according to several international media.

“We call all the living forces in Tunisia and around the world to intensify pressure on the occupation authorities and their alliesin order to obtain the release of all the hostages and the legal translation of the managers of these crimes, ”said the press release.

The case arouses a Wave of indignation in Tunisiawhere several citizens’ organizations and collectives have expressed their solidarity with the activists of the flotilla.
Support gatherings are expected in the coming days in Tunis and in several cities in the country, in order to demand the protection of Tunisian nationals held by Israel and the International condemnation of violence against participants in the humanitarian mission.
