As Eid Al-Adha approaches, the municipality of Tunis announced, this Wednesday, the formal ban on the sacrifice of sheep within the apartments and on the building terraces. This decision is part of the application of municipal regulations in force.
In a press release, the municipality stressed the need to respect the health and environmental conditions linked to the party, by calling the inhabitants of buildings to resort to the spaces authorized and developed for this purpose.
Four points in the capital were thus designated to accommodate the sacrifice operations in good conditions: the central market, the Khadra city market, that of Hay Ibn Khaldoun and finally the Sidi Sridek market in Hafsia.
The municipality also invites residents to contact a veterinarian in case of doubt or need, in order to verify the state of health of the animal and obtain the necessary advice.
