Salah Zouari went this Wednesday, July 30, 2025 on the site of the south entrance to Tunis to see the progress of the work. The Minister of Equipment assured that the project will be completed by the end of 2025.
The Minister of Equipment and Housing, Salah Zouari, made a visit to the site of the second and third tranches of the project to develop the southern entrance to the capital. Accompanied by the director general of bridges and roads, engineers and representatives of the group of companies in charge of the work, he held a work session on site.
Work rate rate
According to the ministry, the second tranche, located in Cagna, is 67%carried out, while the third, covering the Gaugeurée hospital and the El Mourouj area, records a progress rate of 73%.
Salah Zouari reaffirmed the strategic importance of the project, which concerns more than 200,000 vehicles per day. He insisted on respecting the calendar, fixing the end of the work in December 2025, while calling for maintaining a high level of quality in execution.
An investment of 370 MD
The project to develop the southern entry of Tunis, launched to unclog one of the busiest axes in the capital, mobilizes an investment of 370 million dinars. It is part of a national program to improve urban road infrastructure.
