SONEDE sets up a short message service to inform its subscribers about their invoices and services. Registration is done by SMS or online.
The National Society of Water Operating and Distribution (SONEDE) announced, this Monday, July 28, 2025, the official launch of a new free SMS sending service.
Send a message to 85004
This system will allow customers to receive detailed information on their drinking water consumption bills as well as on the company’s services.
To register for it, subscribers must simply send a message to 85004 with the mention in the followed by the contract number. It is also possible to register via the form available on sms.sonede.com.tn Or by filling a coupon in the SONEDE agencies.
In the event of unsubscription, the procedure is similar: send follow -up to the contract number to the same number, or go through the same platforms.
Modernization strategy
SONEDE specifies that this service aims to facilitate communication with its customers and to improve transparency around invoicing and services. This system is also part of a customer relationship modernization strategy.
Faced with growing and direct access to billing information, several public companies have opted for interactive digital services. The Sonede thus follows the example of the STEG or the Tunisian Post, already engaged in an approach to digitize their services.
