The Ministry of Equipment and Housing has announced the publication of the final lists of candidates selected for the allocation of social housing. This step marks the completion of administrative procedures for the distribution of the completed units in several regions of the country.

Validation of lists and prices

Meeting under the chairmanship of Minister Slah Zouari, the steering committee of the Specific Social Housing Program validated the final lists of beneficiaries. The meeting also made it possible to approve the price-setting scales applicable to social housing ready to be allocated, carried out in several delegations across the governorates.

According to the ministry, these decisions are part of the final phase of the distribution process, aimed at guaranteeing transparency and fairness in access to housing for the benefit of those entitled to it.

On this occasion, the Minister of Equipment and Housing called for a review of the legislation governing the Specific Social Housing Program. This reform would aim to adapt the system to current social realities and improve its effectiveness for the benefit of categories with limited income.

Slah Zouari also insisted on the need to accelerate the completion of projects still in progress, in order to meet the growing demand for social housing in several regions.

Preparing for a new phase in 2026

The authorities are also preparing for the launch of a second phase of the program in 2026, intended for new social housing projects. This future step aims to expand the number of beneficiaries and strengthen social housing policy at the national level.

To date, 4,708 social housing units have already been allocated to their beneficiaries across the country. Among them, 706 housing units were handed over during 2025, reflecting a gradual continuation of the implementation of the program despite financial and logistical constraints.
