Saied threatens to replace failing officials with graduates

The President of the Republic, Kaïs Saïed, insisted on the need to quickly go beyond all obstacles in order to achieve a balance between the creation of wealth and social justice.

He was expressed this Friday, March 28, during a meeting at the Palais de Carthage with the head of the government, Sarra Zaâfrani Zenzeri.

Saïed stressed that each manager must feel invested with a revolutionary mission and work to lift the obstacles that slow down development. For him, it is not only a question of adopting new laws, but to shape a new page in history. “The objective is not to multiply the legislative texts without real impact, but to concretely transform reality,” he said.

The head of state has also warned that the institutions will not remain passive in the face of those who hinder their proper functioning and prevent the achievement of the expectations of the people. He spoke of the thousands of graduates and patriots, who, despite a lack of experience, are animated by a deep attachment to the country and are ready to replace those who, believing himself from a privileged elite, delay the concretization of many projects.

“The era of the influence networks within the cogs of the state must end as quickly as possible,” he insisted.
Finally, Saïed reiterated its conviction that Tunisia can find the solutions necessary to guarantee the dignity of its citizens, provided that they eradicate corruption and believe in its own resources. “Our country is full of wealth and potential,” he concluded.
