The President of the Republic, Kaïs Saïed, received Friday, June 27, 2025 at the Palais de Carthage Brahim Bouderbala, president of the Assembly of People’s Representatives, and Imed Derbali, President of the National Council of Regions and Districts.
At the center of the interview: several bills within economic and social scope. The Head of State took advantage of it to reaffirm that “the Tunisian people waged a war of liberation on all fronts”, stressing that national policy is decided through elected institutions, within the framework of law and constitution.
Kaïs Saïed said that Tunisia “does not need a certificate of approval of any foreign part”, adding that “is neither a private property nor a garden”.
He also warned of certain circles linked to foreign powers that fuel tensions in several regions, while falsely claiming patriotism.
The president concluded that the Tunisian people know the truth and will defeat all attempts at destabilization.
