Russia: towards a strategic partnership in infrastructure

A high -level Russian delegation, representing the company RKS NR LLC – a subsidiary of the Roskapstroy group specializing in strategic international projects – made a visit to Tunisia on April 7 and 8, 2025. Objective: explore the cooperation and investment opportunities, in particular in the infrastructure sectors such as airports, intelligent cities and ports in deep water.

According to a press release published this Thursday, April 10, 2025 by the External Investment Promotion Agency (FIPA), a meeting was held on April 8 between the Russian delegation and the director general of FIPA, Jalel Tebib, who presented the business climate in Tunisia and the incentives offered to foreign investors.

The Russian delegation has also met several senior officials from the ministries concerned to deepen discussions around potential projects.

Directed by Islamov Marat, deputy director general in charge of development, the delegation also included Arthur Ibatulin (adviser for international projects), Evgenii Churdalev (Advisor to North Africa), and Chahir Riahi, representative of RKS in Tunisia. The RKS NR LLC company operates under the supervision of the Russian Ministry of Equipment, Housing and Local Authorities.
