Their decision, made public Thursday, comes to protest against the non-compliance with internal regulations and the unilateral character of parliamentary management.
âRepeated violations of the provisions of the internal regulations of Parliament and non-compliance with the deliberations of the Bureau when taking unilateral decisions,â specifies the text.
The bloc says it will continue to defend the legislative and supervisory role of Parliament, as well as the right of deputies to participate in its management.
An institutional signal
According to Abdelaziz ChaĂąbane, five other members of the Bureau also resigned for similar reasons, without official confirmation to date. These departures come as Parliament debates the finance bill and the 2026 economic budget, a crucial moment for the credibility of the institution.
