Resignations at the ARP Office: the “Voice of the Republic” bloc calls for compliance with the regulations

Two deputies from the La Voix de la RĂ©publique bloc, Abdelaziz ChaĂąbane and Nizar Seddik, presented, this Thursday, November 6, 2025, their resignation from the Office of the Assembly of People’s Representatives.

Their decision, made public Thursday, comes to protest against the non-compliance with internal regulations and the unilateral character of parliamentary management.

The bloc cites “repeated violations”

In an official press release, La Voix de la République expressed its solidarity with its two representatives, while explaining the reasons for the withdrawal:

“Repeated violations of the provisions of the internal regulations of Parliament and non-compliance with the deliberations of the Bureau when taking unilateral decisions,” specifies the text.

The bloc says it will continue to defend the legislative and supervisory role of Parliament, as well as the right of deputies to participate in its management.

An institutional signal

According to Abdelaziz ChaĂąbane, five other members of the Bureau also resigned for similar reasons, without official confirmation to date.
These departures come as Parliament debates the finance bill and the 2026 economic budget, a crucial moment for the credibility of the institution.
