The Ministry of Religious Affairs announced, this Tuesday, the final price of the pilgrimage for the 1447 H/2026 season, set at 20,930 dinars. This decision is accompanied by administrative instructions intended for definitively registered pilgrims, invited to begin payment and travel procedures from December 10.
A cost split between accommodation and transport
The pricing adopted is divided into two parts:
- 17,000 D for accommodation and services provided by the National Society of Services and Residences.
- 3930 D for the plane ticket, amount decided by Tunisair.
The ministry specifies that these amounts cover all services linked to the stay and travel of pilgrims.
Start of payments at post offices
Future pilgrims are asked to go, from Wednesday, December 10, to the nearest post office in order to pay the total amount and obtain a payment receipt and a prepaid e-dinar smart card, essential for procedures at the one-stop shops.
Once payment has been made, pilgrims must go to the one-stop shop in their governorate to finalize the travel formalities, in accordance with the schedule attached to the ministerial press release.
The documents required are the original passport, valid beyond November 30, 2026 and containing at least two free pages; a photocopy of the passport; two identity photos on a white background; proof of biometric registration (Visa BIO) confirming the capture of biometric data via the dedicated application by the Saudi authorities.
The ministry emphasizes that these anticipated procedures aim to streamline preparations, ensure compliance with Saudi biometric identity requirements and avoid any delays in the issuance of visas.
