First operator in Tunisia to receive this international recognition in business continuity

Ooredoo Tunisia is proud to announce the obtaining of ISO 22301:2019 certification, the international reference standard for business continuity management systems (BCMS).

With this distinction, Ooredoo becomes the first telecom operator in Tunisia to obtain this international recognition, confirming its commitment to operational resilience, proactive risk management and the guarantee of uninterrupted quality service for its customers.

ISO 22301:2019 establishes requirements for organizations to plan, implement, monitor and improve a BCMS. It helps to anticipate and effectively manage major disruptions while ensuring the continuity of critical activities.

This certification is part of a continuous improvement process and consolidates Ooredoo’s commitments in terms of governance, security and reliability. It illustrates the company’s ability to protect its essential infrastructure and maintain the availability of its services even in times of crisis.

On this occasion, Mansoor Rashid Al-Khater, CEO of Ooredoo Tunisia, declared: “Obtaining ISO 22301:2019 certification is a major milestone that reflects our determination to remain at the forefront of operational excellence and risk management. It confirms our role as a technological leader and reaffirms our responsibility towards our customers, our partners and the entire Tunisian digital ecosystem. At Ooredoo, we are committed to ensuring reliable and secure connectivity, whatever the circumstances. »

This international recognition reinforces Ooredoo’s numerous strategic initiatives aimed at consolidating its leading position in the Tunisian and regional market, while adopting global best practices in terms of security, quality and resilience.
