On Sunday, June 1, 2025, all archaeological sites, historic monuments and museums managed by the heritage development agency and cultural promotion will open their doors for free. This measure concerns Tunisian citizens as well as foreign residents with a legal residence permit in Tunisia.
This initiative is part of a free policy established by the agency, which offers free access to these cultural places every first Sunday of the month. It also applies to the symbolic days of April 18, celebrating the International Day of Monuments and Sites, on May 18, International Museum Day, as well as to official public holidays.
