The Mufti de la République, Cheikh Hichem Ben Mahmoud, announced that Eid El-Fitr will be celebrated in Tunisia on Monday March 31, 2025.
This declaration, made on the evening of this Saturday, March 29, is based on the impossibility of observing the lunar crescent marking the end of the month of Ramadan. Thus, Sunday March 30, 2025 will be the last day of the sacred month, and the 1st Chawwal 1446 of the Hegira will coincide with Monday March 31.
