The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians abroad, Mohamed Ali Nafti, will participate on May 31, 2025 in an advisory meeting in Cairo, alongside his Egyptian and Algerian counterparts.
This meeting is part of the joint efforts of the neighboring countries of Libya to support the current political process and encourage an inclusive dialogue between the different Libyan parties.
Organized with the United Nations assistance, the meeting will also bring together Badr Abdel Aty, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptians abroad, and Ahmed Attaf, Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, the National Community abroad and African Affairs. Together, they will take stock of the situation in Libya and on regional initiatives aimed at promoting peaceful regulations for the crisis.
According to a statement from the ministry, Tunisia, faithful to its constant position, continues to support the aspirations of the Libyan people to security, stability and development. This meeting will be an opportunity to strengthen coordination between the three countries and to reaffirm their commitment to support inter-Libyan dialogue in a framework of constructive cooperation and under the aegis of the United Nations.
