The Libyan Interior Ministry announced, this Wednesday, April 16, 2025, the strengthening of security in the Nalout region, located on the border with Tunisia. Mobile patrols, supported by border guard units, now travel the area more intensively.
This mobilization is part of a global security plan set up by the Libyan authorities. The objective: to better control the sensitive points of the border territory, prevent contraband acts and limit irregular immigration flows.
According to the press release, these new measures aim to consolidate strategic positions along the western border. It is also a question of ensuring better coordination between the various security forces deployed in the field.
