Good news for employment in north-west Tunisia: the German group Kromberg & Schubert announced the creation of 4,000 new positions in its Béja factory, thus strengthening its role as an industrial and social pillar in the region.

A flagship company in the automotive industry in Tunisia

Established in Béja since 2008, Kromberg & Schubert is one of the largest employers in the region, with already nearly 6,000 Tunisian employees. The company, specialized in the manufacture of high-tech electrical systems for automobiles, supplies several international manufacturers according to the strictest standards in the sector.

This new phase of expansion confirms the German group’s confidence in Tunisia’s industrial potential and the quality of the local workforce.

During her visit to the site, the German ambassador to Tunisia, Elisabeth Wolbers, praised the company’s working conditions and social policy, which she described as an exemplary model of economic and human partnership.

She stressed that this success illustrates the solidity of cooperation between Tunisia and Germany, based on training, innovation and mutual respect.

A major economic impact for Béja

The opening of 4,000 new positions represents a breath of fresh air for regional employment, particularly in an area long marked by high unemployment.

Kromberg & Schubert places emphasis on the training and integration of young talents, thus contributing to strengthening local skills and stabilizing the economic fabric of the northwest.
