The development of health innovation and the adoption of advanced medical technologies were at the heart of the interview on Monday at the headquarters of the Ministry, between the Minister of Health, Mustapha Ferjani, and the South Korea ambassador, Lee Tae-Won.
According to A press release published by the ministry at the end of the daythis meeting made it possible to explore new avenues of cooperation between Tunis and Seoul in the fields of the digitization of medical services, the development of advanced health technologies, as well as the launch of joint research programs and medical innovations.
The discussions also focused on skills training, the exchange of expertise in robotic surgery, support for the digital transformation of the Tunisian health system and opening on the medical tourism market.
Minister Ferjani stressed that digitization and modern technologies are the key to improving the quality of health services and making Tunisia an engine of health innovation in Africa.
For its part, the South Korean ambassador has reaffirmed the support of his country to strengthen Tunisian medical technological infrastructure. On this occasion, the diplomat gave the Minister an official invitation to participate in the World Biotechnology Summit to be held in South Korea next September.
