Kef, Siliana, Kairouan: weather alert and risk of hail tonight

According to the latest forecasts from the National Institute of Meteorology (INM), storms will develop this Friday afternoon on the heights of the northwest and the center of the country, giving rise to rainy falls.

This precipitation will gradually affect the eastern regions, before expanding locally in the extreme southwest during the night. They will sometimes be very abundant, especially in The governorates of Kef, Siliana and Kairouanwhere hail are also provided in places.

The wind will blow violently during thunderstormstemporarily reaching more than 80 km/h in the form of gusts. These conditions could cause phenomena of sand and dust, particularly in the southwest during the night.
