During the Council of Ministers of September 12 in Carthage, President Kaïs Saïed reaffirmed that Tunisia would continue its revolutionary process and promised to “slaughter the lobbies” and the occult alliances which it accuses of blocking the country.
Cap on the Revolution and Social Justice
Kaïs Saïed insisted on the continuation of the “path of the Revolution” in all sectors and regions. He promised a fair distribution of wealth so that “no one remains in misery or deprivation”. The president said that youth will soon carry a new national project, based on freedom, social justice and dignity.
Offensive against lobbies and hidden alliances
The Head of State has again denounced the influence of networks of interests and corruption within public services. He accused certain political figures of having played a double game, appearing to be rival when they would actually be linked by backstage alliances, “manipulated like puppets by a known director”.
“Revolutionary” texts in preparation
By evoking the draft laws discussed, Saïed called for “radical” reforms capable of meeting the expectations of the unemployed and victims of the past system. He insisted on the adoption of texts carrying “revolutionary” solutions which will allow, according to him, to put an end to injustice and to weaken his adversaries, according to the press release from the Presidency of the Republic.
