The President of the Republic, Kaïs Saïed, made yesterday, August 21, a series of unexpected visits which led him successively in an educational center, at the Rabta hospital, in front of the sit-in of unemployed doctors installed for several weeks before the Ministry of Higher Education, as well as in certain popular districts.

The Head of State insisted on the universal character of the right to education. During his visit to the educational center, the president was arrested by employees denouncing “corruption practices” and “internal accounts”. The Head of State also went to the sit-in of unemployed doctors before the Ministry of Higher Education. Throughout his tour, the president has made an offensive discourse against those whom he describes as “gravediggers of the nation”, reiterating his call to “Release Tunisia from corrupt and lobbies that paralyze the state”.
