The President of the Republic, Kaïs Saïed, said, during his meeting yesterday Monday, April 28, 2025 with Mohamed Ali Nafti, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians abroad, that the declarations and communications emanating from foreign parts are completely rejected, both in form and in substance, and constitute a blatant interference in the internal affairs of Tunisia.
This declaration comes following the publication of several press releases by foreign embassies expressing their concern about the verdict pronounced within the framework of the so -called “conspiracy against state security”, which aroused strong international reactions.
The Head of State stressed that Tunisia is neither a private domain nor an orchard, and that if some regret the exclusion of international observers, Tunisia can also send observers to these same parties who express an alleged concern and a so-called sleep disorder, to ask them to modify their legislation and change their procedures.
He said, “These parties worry when they want to pretend to worry, but do not lose sleep when they look at their own present, and even their past. »»
