The head of government, Sarra Zaafrani Zenzri, returned to Tunis Tuesday evening, after taking part in the work of the 4th international conference on development of development, which is held from June 30 to July 3 in Seville, in southern Spain.
During this high -level meeting, the Tunisian official chained bilateral interviews with several international managers and partners. She notably maintained herself with Mauritanian President Mohamed Ould Ghazouani, the Portuguese Prime Ministers Luis Montenegro, Palestinian Mohamed Mustapha, Egyptian Mustapha Kamel Madbouli, and Algerian Nadir Larbaoui, as well as with the president of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (BERD).
This conference marks an important step, ten years after the Addis Ababa action program. The participating delegations adopted, from the first day, the commitment of Seville, a new global framework aimed at mobilizing the funding necessary for sustainable development. Estimated at $ 4,000 billion per year, these needs remain largely dissatisfied, especially in the countries of the South.
This commitment, concluded on June 25, 2025 by all UN member states-with the exception of the United States-aims to revive global efforts in inclusive and fair development, in an international context marked by growing economic, social and climatic challenges.
