The expert in Tunisian meteorology, Amer Bahba, said this Friday, March 28, 2025 that a new cold wave during the days of Eid will be more intense than those of previous days, with rains expected on the heights of the North.
Speaking on Jawhara FM, he also said that weather conditions will look like those in January.
Bahba has indicated that significant amounts of rain have been recorded in recent days, especially in the far north.
He said precipitation in the last 48 hours has reached 70 mm in Beni Mtir, 66 mm in Ain Draham and 31 mm in Krib. He added that the volume of water in the dams increased by 2 million cubic meters yesterday, bringing the total to 836 million cubic meters.
