Tunisia is once again upsetting on the international scene thanks to the excellence of its skills in the health field. This Friday, May 23, 2025, in Geneva, the major doctor Zemni in Geneva was honored by the Nelson Mandela Prize for the Promotion of Health, a distinction awarded by the Director General of the World Health Organization (WHO).
This prestigious prize comes to salute a remarkable professional career and a constant commitment to the service of the development of the health sector. Representing Tunisia in this international competition, Dr. Zemni has convinced by the quality of its contributions and its involvement in improving public health policies.
During the award ceremony, the OMS director general welcomed Tunisia’s efforts, highlighting the country’s notable advances in medical matters. He also recalled that only five countries were rewarded this year, which gives this recognition a particularly significant dimension.
