A mobile medical assistance and resuscitation unit was commissioned on April 21, 2025 at the Haj Ali Soua regional hospital in Ksar Hellal, in the governorate of Monastir. This new system aims to strengthen the emergency care system in the region.
According to a press release from the Ministry of Health, this unit has a staff made up of two specialized doctors and technicians, it is intended to ensure rapid interventions in the event of serious medical emergencies, both in KSAR Hellal and in the surrounding localities.
This deployment is part of an initiative by the Ministry of Health aimed at bringing the emergency and resuscitation services closer to citizens throughout the country. The objective is to improve access to urgent care, especially in areas that are distant from it.
The ministry indicates to continue its efforts to accelerate the establishment of other mobile units provided in different regions, in order to strengthen the capacity for response to critical situations throughout the territory.
