Tunisia will experience a relative drop in temperatures this Sunday, with maximum values oscillating between 12 and 17°C, and up to 10°C in the western heights.
According to the National Institute of Meteorology, dense cloudy periods and scattered rains will affect the North, while the rest of the country will benefit from partly overcast skies. The wind will blow strong near the coast, making the sea very rough in the North.
Cold front over the North
The northern regions will be most exposed to the effects of the passage of a colder air mass. The INM predicts sometimes dense clouds, accompanied by scattered and temporarily stormy rains in northern coastal areas. Elsewhere in the country, the sky will remain partly cloudy but without significant rainy episodes.
Westerly winds will be relatively strong along the coasts and on the hills, making maritime conditions delicate. The sea will be very rough in the North and rough on the rest of the coast.
Drop in temperatures
Maximum temperatures will drop significantly: 12 to 17°C in most regions, and around 10°C in the western heights, where the cold will be more pronounced.
