A digital platform dedicated to obtaining the National Identity Card is now accessible to students in the third year of secondary school. This initiative aims to simplify administrative procedures and ensure national coverage before the end of the school year.
Open online registration
Students in the third year of secondary school can now register online to obtain the National Identity Card (CIN), via a pilot digital platform recently put into service by the competent authorities (https://cineleve.interieur.gov.tn).
Access is carried out using the student’s unique identifier, thanks to an electronic interconnection system integrating online payment.
This approach is part of a strategy of digitalization of administrative services, aiming to streamline procedures, reduce travel and improve the quality of service offered to citizens from the school environment.
Mobile teams deployed in schools
The reception of administrative files, as well as the taking of fingerprints, will begin from January 20 and will continue until the end of February. Mobile security teams will be deployed in all public and private high schools to ensure that requests are processed directly within the establishments.
A joint press release from the Ministries of the Interior, Education and Communication Technologies highlighted the coordination undertaken between the different parties to guarantee the smooth running of this national campaign, presented as a key step in the modernization of identification services.
