Thirteen Tunisian universities have taken part in a strategic workshop organized by the Virtual University of Tunis (UVT), devoted to the integration of artificial intelligence (IA) in higher education and research.
Gathered at the International Training Training Center (CIFFIP) to the banks of Lac 2, academic, institutional and industrial representatives have sketched the main lines of a five -year strategy which will be subject to the Ministry of Higher Education, reports the TAP agency.
The president of the UVT, Slim Ben Saïd, stressed the importance of this approach, in progress for several months, which aims to sustainably transform higher education through AI.
Among the axes covered: strengthening skills, promotion of research, digitalization of establishments and responsible innovation.
This workshop marks a key step in Tunisia’s desire to become a leading regional player in the adoption of artificial intelligence at the service of knowledge.
