The criminal chamber specializing in terrorism affairs at the Tunis court of first instance condemned the former Minister of the Interior and leader of the Ennahdha Movement, Ali Larayedh, to 34 years in prison, as part of the case linked to the routing networks to the areas of tension and terrorism abroad.
The same room also condemned each of the two former security executives, Fathi Beldi and Abdelkarim Abidi, at 26 years in prison.
The session of this Friday, May 2, 2025 was devoted by the House to “apologize from the accused” and to hear their requests, before the file was deliberated to pronounce the judgment at the end of the hearing.
