According to exclusive information obtained by Mosaïque FM, the finance bill for the year 2026, transmitted by the government to the Assembly of People’s Representatives (ARP), sets state revenues at 52.56 billion dinars and expenditures at 63.57 billion dinars. The ARP office will meet on Thursday to examine the text.
The first axis of the project establishes the social role of the State, in particular through job creation and encouraging the hiring of higher education graduates in the private sector.
According to article 13 of the project, the State will cover the employer’s share of social security contributions for qualified employees recruited by private companies from January 1, 2026, according to a decreasing scale:
- 100% of the contribution covered in the first year,
- then a reduction of 20% per year, up to 20% in the fifth year.
Strengthened support for employment and training
The text also provides for an expansion of the scope of intervention of the National Employment Fund, which will give priority to the long-term unemployed.
This fund will finance qualification and training programs aimed at job seekers, final year university students and vocational training graduates.
