The Directorate General of the National Guard revealed in a press release published Tuesday evening the details of recent operations which led to the seizure of large quantities of cocaine and cannabis as well as the arrest of traffickers including foreigners

In Monastir a joint operation with the units of the Tebboulba National Guard allowed the seizure of 1 kg of cocaine the arrest of two foreigners and the confiscation of a vehicle registered abroad
In Sousse a third suspect linked to the same network was arrested with his vehicle sums of money and jewelry
In Thala Kasserine in coordination with the units of the National Guard, a suspect was caught in the act as he tried to transport 93 cannabis plates 9.3 kg as well as a light truck
To Mateur and Bizerte Five people were arrested in Mateur and Sejnane for drug trafficking of the quantities of tablets a high -caught motorcycle and sums of money were seized
The legal proceedings relating to these cases were initiated in coordination with the prosecution of the various first instance courts concerned.
