This July 28, 2025, the Minister of Health, Mustapha Ferjani, received in Tunis the Belgian ambassador, François Dumont, as well as the president of the company Medic Clean Air. During this meeting, a donation agreement was signed in favor of several Tunisian public hospitals.
The contribution includes 15 “COMBI 3.0” type mobile air purification units. They will be installed in intensive care and isolation units, with the aim of reducing the risks of contamination. The total amount of the donation amounts to almost 600,000 euros.
This partnership aims to improve the quality of the hospital environment. It is part of a common vision between Tunisia and Belgium to strengthen prevention, support mental health, improve women’s health and fight against addictions.
For the minister, this is a strong signal: this action demonstrates the confidence placed in Tunisian medical skills. It also opens the way to other forms of cooperation, particularly in training, research and local production of medical equipment.
