A Turkish company has expressed interest in the Tunisian olive oil sector, with the intention of investing in several links of the value chain, according to a press release published by the Sfax Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The Turkish delegation, received by the president of the chamber, Habib Hammami, was accompanied by representatives of the Turkish embassy and the Turkish honorary consul in Sfax. The meeting also brought together players in the olive industry, producers and exporters.
According to the chamber, the Turkish group wishes to initiate projects relating to:
– of the purchase points ;
– units of storage ;
– stations packaging ;
– installations of refining ;
– units of pomace treatment ;
– as well as planting projects.
A broad interest that covers the entire cycle, from the tree to the finished product.
