On March 26, 2025, the government’s heading, Sarra Zaafrani Zenzri, chaired a limited ministerial council devoted to the continuation of the examination of the confiscation of illegal funds from corruption and their management.
The government’s heading insisted on the need to accelerate the work of the commissions in charge of confiscation. She underlined the importance of guaranteeing the right of the State to recover her property, while implementing the recommendations of President Kaïs Saïed for a more effective management of confiscated funds.
Sarra Zaafrani Zenzri also called for a close collaboration between all the parties concerned to guarantee the success of this process, which must not only recover the diverted goods, but also to ensure optimal management of confiscated properties, in the interest of the Tunisian people.
Finally, the government’s heading has assured that monitoring this file will be carried out continuously by its services and all the institutions involved.
