In a statement dated April 30, 2025, the Ministry of Justice announced that Minister Leïla Jaffel, after consultation with the judicial suspected committee, had made decisions relating to the parole of 714 detainees.
These detainees have satisfied the legal criteria required to benefit from this measure, resulting in their early release.
According to the ministry, these decisions are part of the programs for the rehabilitation and reintegration of prisoners. The objective is to guarantee a harmonious return of these people within society, after having served part of their sentence, in compliance with the principles of justice and social reintegration.
