The Minister of State and Land Affairs, Wajdi Hedhili said that 58 hectares of non -agricultural property was sold to the real estate agency of housing at a preferential price, a reduction of 70 % of the value of the land, fixed by the expert in state goods, in order to create fitted urban areas.

During a dialogue session within Parliament, this Monday, May 12, 2025, the minister added that 50 % of the land would be intended for low -income categories, as part of his ministry support for social housing projects.

Al-Hadhili also stressed that his ministry will continue to give up land property at a symbolic price within the framework of the special social housing program in favor of low-income social categories.
